About Us

Temple Theater's Side Stage (TTSS) is Temple's student-run theater organization. Actors, directors, designers, producers, and everyone in between are all students,
completely running the show from the ground up. We aim to provide students with a training ground to not only hone their craft, but have an opportunity to try something brand new. Always wanted to try lighting design? We'll pair you up with an experienced designer and get you working on your first show. Want to give directing a go? Try directing a 10-minute play at our "'Ben Vargas' Short Stuff" festival. Never stepped on stage but want to act? All are welcome to audition! Our productions work as a compliment to the mainstage season, providing students of all majors with opportunities to get involved with theater outside the department.
